For this tutorial I have used about 200g clay, which is less than half of what you get in the clay kit. Of course, the amount of clay will depend on how big you want your finished piece to be, so you can use more or less if you prefer.
Before you start you should have:
- Your clay from the clay kit
- A small bowl of water
- Tools from the clay kit, especially the sponge
