Couple's pottery kit: air-dry clay kit for 2

Learn to make objects with nothing but your hands and a few tools and connect with your partner or friend, get inspired by clay and get creative. Clay is very soothing and  can help you connect while you channel your creativity. 

The materials are delivered in one box, so this is suitable for people who live at the same address or will get together to play with clay. If you are looking to buy kits for people in separate locations, have a look at the individual kits.

Air-dry clay does not need to be fired in a kiln and is very easy to work with. After working with it, it will dry out completely in around 3 to 4 days (depending on the thickness of the piece). Once dry, the piece can be decorated with acrylic paints and then made water resistant with a sealant. Is this a gift? If this a gift, leave a gift message at checkout and we will print in on a nice A6 card (See photo). If it's a Valentine's Day gift, we can print your message on a themed card (see photo). Otherwise we will use our standard card.

Important: even after the sealant is applied, pieces made with air-dry clay are NOT water or food safe. They should be use for decorative purposes only

• 2 kg of clay cut in 2 blocks (pick whether you want the white or terracotta clay)

• 2 metal rib

• 2 tools to cut

• 2 rolling pins  (may be without handles depending on our suppliers)

• 2 sponges

• 4 wooden tools

• 2 brushes to paint

• Metallic: 4 tubes of high quality acrylic colours (12ml each): bronze, copper, silver and gold

• Pastel: 12 tubes of of high quality pastel colours (12ml each)

• Bi-lingual (German and English) professionally printed booklet with 60 pages of tips in total to get started, 3 different projects and inspiration. Truly a mini-class in itself!
