About Elisabetta

Elisabetta Lombardo Ceramics
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.” — Walden, Henry David Thoreau
My name is Elisabetta and am an artist based in Berlin, Germany. I make small batch and one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces in my studio in Berlin. I started working with clay while going through depression and anxiety and clay really helped me feel more grounded and present. I left the tech industry and that's how my journey with clay began. I love sharing my love for clay by introducing it to others, via the home clay kits or workshops.
I am the co-founder of Berlin's first hand-building focused community ceramics studio: Kleistone Studio
My ceramics feature glazes made by me. I am big glaze chemistry nerd.
I was born and raised in Turin, Italy. My grandmother, a seamstress, taught me the value of things well made and made slowly.

I work with photography, paper, fibres and ceramics to make beautiful things that invite you to dream.

My ceramic pieces are inspired by my photographs, themes and landscapes.

I also offer clay kits to help others get started working with clay, a material that has given me so much. You can find a collection of clay kits here.

I love teaching and sharing my passion for clay and ceramics: I teach online classes and private workshops. If you are planning a company or private event, I would love to help you out and make sure your event is perfect.

I make and package everything by hand in my studio in Berlin.

Please contact me if you have any questions.
