About Elisabetta

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.” — Walden, Henry David Thoreau
My name is Elisabetta and am an artist based in Berlin, Germany. I share an apartment with 2 cats, a dog and a patient husband. I was born and raised in Turin, Italy. My grandmother, a seamstress, taught me the value of things well made and made slowly.
I am many things: I have worked in human rights, technology and I am also a coach for up and coming product managers. A while ago I realised I could be many different things, and art has been a constant in my life.
I day dream about a house by the beach, with a little studio off to the side, where I can make, but also teach and share art with others.

I work with photography, paper, fibres and ceramics to make beautiful things that invite you to dream. I exhibited work in the historic Acud gallery and ran a project about precarious work that lead to 5 exhibitions in various countries.

My ceramic pieces are inspired by my photographs, themes and landscapes.

I make and package everything by hand in my little home studio in Berlin. Please contact me if you have any questions.
