Light and delicate textured porcelain button, glazed with my erbium glaze. They are slightly curved and the backside is not glazed. The buttons feature 4 holes for sewing. 

The buttons measure 2,5cm in diameter.

There are 5 of these available in total. If you only choose single buttons, you will get one of the ones pictured. 

Porcelain is a very strong material but you should treat your pieces with care and make sure not to drop them or have them hit a hard surface.

Erbium is a rare earth metal. Its oxide is rarely used in ceramics because it is very expensive. However, it produces the most stunning pink: it's actually the only oxide which alone can produce pink. 

Erbium is among the heavy elements that arrived to Earth after escaping the collision between two neutron stars. We are all  made of stars and your earrings too.
